Whoops - sorry for the lack of bloggage lately! I've been away at Sydney for a conference and hard at work trying to wrap up this third book. I've also had a heap of guest blogs and articles to write and most of them are in the bag now, phew!!!!! I'm actually over at teen fiction cafe today talking about Skins and I'm trying to avoid Twitter so that I don't hear any Mockingjay spoilers (though most tweets are being awesomely vague - bless them!!!!!)
What's everyone else been up to?????

Not much has been happening here though there have been two interesting developments-
1) I have a new Romantic Prospect who I am seeing again this weekend.
2) I applied for a full-time with benefits job as a Library Assistant. I still have my current job but it ends in November (I'm a temp) so I'm hoping to get this Assistant job, especially as it's in the Youth Services section. Wish me luck!
Also, I have been working every so often on my story but am very bad about getting butt-in-chair. I need to work on that!
That's alright, Amanda, we know you're busy (AKA Awesome!)How was the conference? I've always wanted to go to one!
I actually have an agent reading my full manuscript! Yay! Hopefully that ends happily. Also, school just started! Yay again! Honestly, summer vacation is a little too long for me.
When's your next book due out to release?
Eleni - it was awesome to meet you as well. Btw, your author photo is absolutely amazing. When it went up onto the screen on Saturday night - Sara, Christina and I all gasped with envy!!!!
BC - woot. Potential new guy and job!!!! My fingers are crossed on both counts. Really push your book knowledge. I get customers raving about me to my boss because of my reader advisory skills (and my love of playing cupid with books and readers!!!!!)
Empress Awesome - I'm so pleased I'm an honorary awesome!!!!! Conference was amazing and I will do a post about it very soon. I've been so slack. Our keynote speaker was Deb Dixon and she was AMAZING - and a Buffy fan - it wasn't possible for me to love her more!!!!
Yay about the full. Please keep me posted on how it goes!!!! Next book is out June 2011, which seems like ages away! However, I have just seen an early cover and it's beyond gorgeous - seriously, it's my fav cover yet so hopefully I will be able to share it Very Soon!!!!!
