So close...

To the end of this book!!!!! It's been just over a year since I sold this trilogy on proposal and now the final book is almost done. I'd like to say that I'm sad, but actually I'm quite excited to tie everything up and let my characters have a wee rest, since let's face it, I haven't exactly been kind to them. But hey, I'm just doing my job!!!!!

I'm blogging over Routines for Writers this week and it's actually with my library hat on this time, so if you've got a chance, I'd love for you to check it out. I've also just finished reading Alyson Noel's Shadowland, which I loved - I think it's the best book so far in her Immortals series, though I've jumped straight into Dark Flame so I might stand corrected very soon!

Not much else to report. We're in the middle of painting our house so in between everything else, I've been trying to paint everything that doesn't move (and sometimes a stray child or two who wanders into my path because Slap Dash is my middle name!)

Anyway, I'll be back in a day or two with a new GCC tour and hopefully the happy news that the book is in the bag. I also think that we're not far from seeing the arcs for Fairy Bad Day, which is very exciting. I'm dying to share my cover as well, so watch this space... Retweet this button on every post blogger

Fame at last!

For those who don't know, my absolute favorite blog in the whole entire world is Pink is the New Blog. My day honestly wouldn't be complete without it. Anyway, since Trent loves all things pink, I sent him a link to Everton's away shirt, which is ridiculously pink. Well, I'm very excited that he mentioned it in the PITNB readers section he runs every Sunday!!!!!!

Not dead just busy

Whoops - sorry for the lack of bloggage lately! I've been away at Sydney for a conference and hard at work trying to wrap up this third book. I've also had a heap of guest blogs and articles to write and most of them are in the bag now, phew!!!!! I'm actually over at teen fiction cafe today talking about Skins and I'm trying to avoid Twitter so that I don't hear any Mockingjay spoilers (though most tweets are being awesomely vague - bless them!!!!!)
